After checking out the Savvy Projects blog and seeing
Teresa's Mother's Day card, I was inspired to use that same stamp set to make one for my MIL. I got out my paper scraps(seems like an inappropriate term for these treasures!) and found pieces and a tag from Genevieve and More Mimi solid. The floral background and solid brown(cut with nestabilities) is from a DCWV mat stack. I used Burnt Umber ink and my watercolor crayons to color. I hand wrote the name "Mum" (using a brown Slick Writer)as that is what we call her. I love the effect the little pearls add in the place where brads would normally go.And of course I stamped Happy Mother's Day on the inside with the sentiment from Trendy Greetings(T2144).

Very nice Betty - this is one stamp set that I surely won't get rid of. This layout works perfectly for a Mums day card.
