After checking out the card Debra posted for the
"Card a Day in the Month of May" on the savvy Projects Blog, I came up with this sympathy card. I started by trying to turn the layout of the card, and as I tried putting the pieces together, this is what "spoke" to me. I used Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits to color. The stamp, Gerbera Daisy, is a retired stamp but a favorite of mine. I hand wrote the sentiment. The background papers came out of my stash of saved pieces of cardstock. I used pop dots to adhere the daisy on to the card.
